Canon S500

Today's photo is a repost of one of the first photos that I posted. If you look at the water near the transmission line tower, you'll see the bore tide coming in. Actually, this is a 'baby bore tide'. The actual bore tide was the day before I took this picture, but I think it's pretty cool nonetheless. Turnagain Arm is one of the two locations in North America that has a bore tide. The other being the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia.

Monday will mark the one year anniversary of this blog. Thanks to those who have visited.

My main purpose for starting this blog was to...
a) share my enthusiasm and love for photography
b) share the photos I've taken
c) become a better photographer, which the pactice of trying to produce photos daily for this blog makes think about.
d) Just have a good time.

I've been doing that. As long as I enjoy myself, I plan to continue. I don't know if I'll continue to post daily, but I'll see how it goes.

That is a very beautiful shot. I have a Canon S400 (4MP Digital Elph) but there isn't much scenery around here, so I shoot mainly stuff on the street, and occasionally some people.
I have only just opened a blog here as a place to repost my crap poetry from my Journalspace account, but there will be the odd photo. I will have a look around your site.
